The Honourable David Peterson, former Premier of Ontario and Chairman of TO2015, will reveal exciting new information on the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games Torch Relay, which begins May 30th

The TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games will be a transformational event for Toronto and the Greater Golden Horseshoe region. With more than 10,000 athletes, coaches and officials coming from 41 countries, this will be the largest international multi-sport Games ever hosted in Canada. Athletes will compete in 51 sports at 30 venues across the Games footprint, in front of more than 1.4 million spectators. Canada will see its largest ever team march into the Pan Am Ceremonies Venue at 1 Blue Jays Way, when the Pan Am Games Opening Ceremony kicks things off on July 10th. Following the conclusion of the Parapan Am Games on August 15th, a legacy of new sport venues, improved infrastructure and a new waterfront neighborhood will enhance the community for years to come.
