The Herle Burly Election Panel LIVE Podcast

David Herle, Jenni Byrne and Scott Reid

” Uncut and Uncensored ”

Oct 17, 2019

Canadian Club Toronto will host the most talked about podcast of Election 43 – The Herle Burly Election Panel LIVE

It will be an engaging evening of insights, observations and witticisms from three of Canada’s smartest and most honest politicos.

The Herle Burly podcast has become the go-to destination to get a deep insider analysis on just what the hell is going on in Election 43.

David Herle, Jenni Byrne and Scott Reid bring years (decades really, maybe even a century, if you add it all up) of political strategy and campaign experience to their honest, no holds-barred conversations and stories.

For anyone who ever thought politics was boring stuff, The Herle Burly Election Panel will prove you wrong.

Biography:

David Herle
Owner, The Gandalf Group

David Herle has been around Liberal politics for a long time, starting as a kid in Saskatchewan organizing ridings for provincial leader Ralph Goodale in the early 80’s to working on campaigns with Paul Martin, Kathleen Wynne, Brian Gallant and many others. He commented on politics for ten years on CBC’s The National. He is known for strategic thinking, blunt talk, lifelong passions (Liberal Party, Riders, Habs, Hawkins Cheezies, Lemon Hart rum, and black licorice), and occasionally saying something he wished he could take back.

The Herle Burly was created as a platform for honest talk and respectful debate, in the midst of something fun and rambunctious. Starting in 2017, guests such as David Axelrod, Robbie Robertson, Thomas Frank and George Will have sparred with David about politics and culture.

Jenni Byrne
Conservative Strategist

Jenni Byrne was born and raised in Fenelon Falls, a small town in the Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario.

Byrne served as Director of Issues Management for Prime Minister Stephen Harper, as well as his Deputy Chief of Staff. She was the Conservative Party National Campaign Manager in 2011 & 2015. In 2011 she became the first woman in Canadian history to manage a winning national, majority election campaign.

In 2018 she was a key player on the Doug Ford campaign that swept his party to victory. She went on to serve as his Principal Secretary in the Premier’s Office. She has also worked as a consultant in the private sector, as well as serving on the Ontario Energy Board.
