Mary Ann Yule, President & CEO, HP Canada
As the leader of HP Canada Co., Mary Ann’s central focus is delivering innovative technology that makes life better for all consumers, businesses and public sector organizations. In her role, she is responsible for all aspects of HP Inc.’s business and operations in Canada, including its market leading portfolio of printers, personal computers, commercial 3D printing technology, workstations, solutions and services.
With over 20 years of experience in the Canadian technology sector, Mary Ann has a proven track record of consistently delivering results with high customer loyalty, particularly in the government, healthcare and education verticals. At HP, she has executed on the company’s reinvention strategy in Canada, delivered breakthrough market results across the portfolio and solidified HP’s standing as the most environmentally responsible IT company in Canada. She has also committed to leading the industry on diversity and inclusion efforts, which includes reversing the trend of under-representation of women in technology and leadership.
Prior to joining HP, Mary Ann served as Vice President and General Manager of CDW Canada Inc., driving business growth and national brand recognition. Under her leadership, CDW Canada ranked as the top technology solution provider in Canada, one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, and among the top workplaces for women.
She holds a Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, attended Ryerson University’s Business program and holds numerous professional accreditations, including Six Sigma Executive Champion.
Mary Ann currently serves on the board of directors of the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC).
Eva Wong, Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer, Borrowell
Eva is Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Borrowell, a financial technology company that helps Canadians make great decisions about credit. Borrowell offers free credit score monitoring, personal loans and product recommendations to over 500,000 members, making it one of Canada’s largest fintech companies.
With a background in management consulting and business development, Eva has worked in both the private and not-for-profit sectors in Canada and abroad, including roles at Maple Leaf Foods and Oliver Wyman.
Eva was named one of 20 tech start-up founders to follow by Twitter Canada and is on the 2017 Women in FinTech Powerlist.
Eva holds degrees from Harvard University and Queen’s School of Business. She enjoys biking, food blogs and baking projects with her two kids.
