John Ferguson, President and Chief Executive Officer, Purolator Inc.
John Ferguson is President and Chief Executive Officer of Purolator Inc., Canada’s leading integrated freight, package and logistics solutions provider. In his role at the helm of this $2.0 billion organization, Mr. Ferguson leads a team of 12,000 employees throughout North America to ensure that Purolator delivers over 135,000 customers’ promises every day – within, from and to Canada.
In the course of his 30-year career, Mr. Ferguson’s experience has spanned all logistics and transportation modes – road, truck, rail, ocean and air. His roles have encompassed oversight of global forwarding, customs and high-value supply chain solution businesses. He has worked extensively throughout North America and has developed a deep understanding of the industry trends and issues that impact Canada’s growth and competitiveness globally including cross-border and international trade, the evolving customer experience in a digital world, automation, technology and the opportunities and challenges created by the changing nature of employment.
Prior to Purolator, Mr. Ferguson was President and CEO of SCI Logistics, where he led its transformation into a leading supply chain solutions company with operations across Canada. He was also the General Manager of Schneider Logistics based in Georgia, where he led the expansion of its global supply chain and transportation business. This role was preceded by his position as General Manager for Schneider National in Canada, a leading asset-based truckload and intermodal company.
Mr. Ferguson currently serves on the board of directors of SCI Logistics and Innovapost. He is an active member in YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and has previously held board of director positions with the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association, Ontario Trucking Association, the national board for Boy Scouts of Canada and the Niagara College Foundation.
Howard Green, Bestselling Author
Howard Green is the author of three bestsellers.
He spent more than three decades in broadcasting, best known as one of the founding-anchors at Business News Network where he hosted the flagship interview program, Headline.
During his almost fifteen years at BNN, Howard conducted approximately fourteen thousand interviews which included the biggest names in business and politics.
His documentary work has been broadcast worldwide and has garnered a number of awards, including the Gemini as well as two Emmy nominations.
